Japanese Screen Glass Plates
Folding screens (byobu) have been a tradition in Japan since the 8th century. Many are covered with paintings of landscapes and nature scenes. Five glass plates with scalloped edges feature five different patterns inspired by byobu. Display them as decorations or use them for appetizers, desserts, or other small foods, perhaps accompanied by some fine Japanese tea. Each is 5 ˝" square. Sold as a set.
